How It Works

This is not a science.

Everyone’s recruiting process is different…

It all starts with…

Knowing what you want for your future. We want our players to feel in control of their recruiting processes. We have seen families spend a lot of time, energy, and money in order for their daughter to play lacrosse in college. It is an investment, and we want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Steps to working with MOJO 1 on 1

  1. MOJO Questionnaire: All players must complete the questionnaire prior to the free consultation. This expedites the “Meet & Greet” process, allowing us to have a sense of who our potential client is. The Aritae Pre-Participation Form is also part of the questionnaire, to see if the player qualifies for the Aritae Self-Leadership Academy.

    • There is a brief/free application process, and not every player will be accepted. Not to worry though, the Initial Assessment is offered to all players, accepted or not. Players may also choose to apply again when they feel more focused on what they want for their futures.

  2. Free Consultation: Every family will have a free consultation with Coach Maddy to learn more about MOJO and the ASLA program.

  3. *Suggested — Aritae Self Leadership Program: A 5 module program that the girls go through with Coach Maddy as their guide. Done in a group setting, players will come to discover what truly makes them happy and successful.

  4. Initial Assessment: Baseline testing and meeting to establish realistic expectations. Families will receive feedback about where their daughters stand athletically and academically when being considered by college coaches.

  5. MOJO Consultation Services: Outlined in the Pricing + Services page.

travel teams need support too…

Clubs have the ability to positively impact many young athletes. Having so many players, directors need help managing player/parent expectations, aspirations, and goals. MOJO services can be customized to fit your club’s needs, without putting a large financial burden on your families. Our MOJO team can be as involved with your club as you would like.

Steps to working with MOJO as a club

  1. Identify what your program needs in regards to college recruiting. See our Prices + Services page for more information.

  2. Schedule a free consultation to finalize MOJO’s role with your program.

  3. Suggested action items—

    • Communicate to your families what the club’s partnership with MOJO will entail

    • Have Maddy Mo come evaluate at a practice or two to learn more about the girls and their style of play.

    • Have a complimentary “Coaches’ Happy Hour” so coaches and Maddy are all on the same page. This is a great way for us at MOJO to really understand each player’s personality off the field as well!
